Code of Conduct

Dakshin Bijni Degree College

At Dakshin Bijni Degree College, we strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students. The following code of conduct outlines the expectations for student behavior both on and off-campus:

  • Respect and Courtesy

    Students are expected to treat all members of the college community with respect and courtesy, including fellow students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Disrespectful or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Academic Integrity

    Academic honesty is crucial. Students must refrain from plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty in academic work. Violations of academic integrity will result in disciplinary action.

  • Attendance and Punctuality

    Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for academic success. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time. Unauthorized absenteeism may lead to academic penalties.

  • Use of College Resources

    Students must use college facilities, including the library, laboratories, and internet services, responsibly and with care. Any misuse of college property may lead to fines or suspension of privileges.

  • Disciplinary Behavior

    Students are prohibited from engaging in disruptive or violent behavior, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or any activity that jeopardizes the safety and well-being of others.

  • Dress Code

    Students are expected to dress in a manner that is appropriate for the academic environment and reflects the dignity of the college. The college may set guidelines regarding dress codes for certain events or activities.

  • Substance Abuse

    The consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, or any illegal substances on college premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Respect for College Property

    Students are responsible for the preservation and maintenance of college property. Any damage to property will result in penalties, including possible suspension or expulsion.

  • Communication and Behavior on Social Media

    Students are encouraged to use social media responsibly and must refrain from posting content that could harm the reputation of the college or its members.

  • Environmental Responsibility

    Students are expected to contribute to maintaining a clean and eco-friendly campus. Littering, defacing property, or disregarding sustainability efforts is discouraged.

  • Disciplinary Action

    Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, fines, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the violation.
